As a guided Meditation teacher you will be inviting others to participate in a beautiful meditation practise that is enlightening, insightful, empowering and relaxing.

You will also provide your students with meditative techniques and tools that they can use to enhance their lives and develop greater self knowledge and awareness.

About the Course

Learn the techniques and skills and develop the confidence you need to confidently run meditation groups.

Whether in your workplace, for support groups, in schools for teachers, parents and children, in a corporate environment or for your family and friends.

This course will provide you with all the tools to run a successful group.  It also allows plenty of scope for your imagination and creativity to flourish as you open to the limitless possibilities of Creative Visualization that you can tap into to.  You are encouraged to explore subject areas that interest you and develop the ability to create a meditation for others with little or no prior preparation.

The course has a holistic basis and provides a solid foundation and structure for those wanting some support and quality guidance in getting started.  It is also appropriate for experienced meditators who are ready to take the next step and start creating meditations for others to follow. You are given step by step support, encouragement and instruction.

Extensive meditation experience is not necessary but is a great advantage.

By successfully completing the course you will be able to:

1. Guide groups in original meditations of a professional standard with little or no preparation.
2. Use student support skills such as advanced listening and communication.
3. Utilize meditation as a healing tool for yourself and others.
4. Support participants in deriving the most from their meditation practice
5 Have an understanding of group dynamics..

4. Facilitating Groups
5. Manifestation and Supervision

Each session provides the opportunity to deepen your skills, while the practice sessions allow practice, consolidation and experimentation

Suitability

This training course is suitable for health and wellbeing professionals, parents, school teachers (primary, secondary and adult education), social workers, counselors or those wanting to conduct guided meditation for the local community. Meditation can be used alongside other activities such as art, writing classes to stimulate creativity and openness,

Course Structure

Home based

Students work through sessions in the extensive student manual and CD’s.
Completed work is sent in after each session and individual feedback given.
Correspondence Students attend tutor support calls over the phone. Begin the course at any time.

On Campus

Attending students come to monthly practice sessions at the school which involves live meditation practice in groups. Students can benefit from this practice no matter which session they are up to in the manual
Students can attend practise sessions even after course completion. (at a nominal charge)
Students attend “practise sessions” at the school which involve live meditation practise in groups.
Begin the course at any time.

Course Hours

It is recommended that you do not rush through the course. Each session will take approx 4-6 hours to complete plus your home meditation practice.

Total course hours come to 52+ hours.

Meditation practise at home approx 2 hrs per week.

Assessment

Attending Students

Session activities submitted for assessment. (Written and audio)
Attendance and participation at practice sessions.
Practical assessment by a Guided Meditation Presentation within practice sessions.


Correspondence Students

Session activities submitted for assessment (Written and audio)
Videotape group presentation and submit.
