The Australian Centre for Holistic Studies is a Melbourne based school that offers courses to those wishing to expand their knowledge and experience in the helping professions, those wishing to enter the helping professions or those seeking to reach their fuller potential on a personal level.
The centre offers courses that are “holistic” in all aspects. That is they provide:
- Industry accredited training based on experiential rather than academic techniques
- Facilitators that are trained and work with a holistic focus.
- Opportunities to achieve personal growth and a professional qualification.
- Courses provided in a caring and friendly environment
Holistic is defined as encompassing techniques and approaches that work with Mind, Body, Spirit and Heart. We learn to attend to emotions that may prevent giving and receiving love and abundance in a person’s life.
Living holistically in this context means being open to the mirrors that life presents through clients, students and relationships presented to us in our lives. Learning to harness growth through the reflections of self found in these relationships can be very empowering.
Holistic means carrying a loving intention and authenticity that is “picked up” by clients and others and promotes trust and positive experiences.
Courses range from Industry accredited Diplomas and Certificate Courses to one day workshops open to students and the public.
Courses are held in Mount Waverley.
